Privacy Policy
1. Who we are
Infinity Problem LLC, an Oregon limited liability company, runs infinityproblem.com and the DEV Team membership. We decide how the personal information described here is used. Contact: contact@infinityproblem.com.
2. What we collect
- Account details: your name, email address and password, when you create an account or join.
- Billing details: your plan, payment history and billing address. Card details are handled by Squarespace's payment processors (such as Stripe or PayPal); we never see or store your full card number.
- Membership activity: lessons you've completed, quiz scores and your progress. Some of this is stored in your browser on your own device.
- Downloads: when you download a sample pack or other file, our file-delivery provider records the request, including your IP address and the time.
- Forms and messages: what you send through our forms (such as email signup or demo submissions, including any Dropbox link and description), and emails you send us.
- Usage and device data: pages you visit, the site that referred you, your browser and device type, and approximate location, collected through Squarespace's built-in analytics and cookies.
What we don't collect: SIM searches the lesson library inside your browser; the questions you type into it aren't sent to us. Our plugins don't send us any personal information. Plugins that show real-world data fetch it directly from public sources, which can see your IP address the way any website can. Plugins that use your camera process the video on your computer; it never leaves your device.
3. How we use it
- To run your membership: account access, delivering content and downloads, and remembering your progress.
- To bill you, including renewals, and to handle cancellations.
- To send service emails, such as receipts, trial and renewal reminders, and important account notices.
- To send news and launch emails. You can unsubscribe from these at any time using the link in any email.
- To review demo submissions and reply to messages.
- To understand how the site is used, fix problems and improve it.
- To prevent fraud and abuse, enforce our Terms, and meet legal obligations.
4. Who we share it with
We don't sell your personal information, and we don't share it for cross-site advertising. We share it only with service providers who help us run the business, under contracts that limit how they can use it:
- Squarespace: website hosting, member accounts, checkout, email campaigns and analytics.
- Payment processors (such as Stripe and PayPal), through Squarespace checkout.
- Cloudflare: delivering files and downloads.
- Zapier: passing form submissions to the tools we use to manage them.
- Google Workspace: our email.
We may also disclose information if the law requires it, to protect our rights or users' safety, or as part of a sale or reorganization of the business.
5. Cookies
The site uses cookies set by Squarespace that are needed for it to work (for example, keeping you signed in and running checkout) and for basic analytics. We don't currently use advertising pixels. If we add any, we'll update this policy and ask for consent where the law requires it. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings; some parts of the site may not work without them.
6. How long we keep it
We keep account and membership information while your account is open and for up to 24 months after it closes, unless you ask us to delete it sooner. We keep billing records as long as tax and accounting law requires (usually 7 years). Demo submissions and form messages are kept for up to 24 months. Download logs are kept for up to 12 months.
7. Your choices and rights
You can ask us to tell you what personal information we hold about you, give you a copy, correct it or delete it, and you can unsubscribe from marketing emails at any time. Depending on where you live (for example Oregon, California or the EU/UK), you may have additional rights, including the right to opt out of certain processing and to appeal our decision. Email contact@infinityproblem.com to make a request. We'll respond within 45 days and won't treat you differently for using these rights. We may need to verify your identity first.
8. Children
The site isn't for children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect their information. Teens aged 13 to 17 may use the membership only through a parent or guardian's account. If you think a child under 13 has given us information, contact us and we'll delete it.
9. Security and location
We use reasonable safeguards, and our providers use industry-standard security. No system is perfectly secure. We're based in the United States, and your information is processed there and wherever our providers operate.
10. Changes
We'll post updates here and change the effective date. For significant changes, we'll also email members.
